Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform first-level checking and verification of transactions across outward payments, inward remittances, clearing, collections, payroll, cash management and PDCs.
  • Validate transaction details, beneficiary information, authorisations and supporting documentation prior to release.
  • Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within agreed turnaround times and daily cut-offs.
  • Handle investigations, including transaction tracing, repairs, returns, amendments and queries from branches, business units and correspondent banks.
  • Support reconciliation activities and follow up on ageing or unmatched entries.
  • Apply UAE Central Bank regulations, internal procedures and operational control standards.
  • Provide effective support to internal and external customers by resolving transaction-related queries.
  • Identify recurring errors, control gaps and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing transaction volumes and time-sensitive deadlines.


Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in banking operations, payments, remittances, trade finance or a related back/middle-office function. Strong graduates with relevant banking or financial-services internships may also be considered.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet daily deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Exposure to SWIFT, core banking systems or payment platforms is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and investigation skills.
