Perform first-level checking and verification of transactions across outward payments, inward remittances, clearing, collections, payroll, cash management and PDCs.
Validate transaction details, beneficiary information, authorisations and supporting documentation prior to release.
Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within agreed turnaround times and daily cut-offs.
Handle investigations, including transaction tracing, repairs, returns, amendments and queries from branches, business units and correspondent banks.
Support reconciliation activities and follow up on ageing or unmatched entries.
Apply UAE Central Bank regulations, internal procedures and operational control standards.
Provide effective support to internal and external customers by resolving transaction-related queries.
Identify recurring errors, control gaps and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing transaction volumes and time-sensitive deadlines.
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in banking operations, payments, remittances, trade finance or a related back/middle-office function. Strong graduates with relevant banking or financial-services internships may also be considered.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet daily deadlines without compromising quality.
Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
Strong Excel skills.
Exposure to SWIFT, core banking systems or payment platforms is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication, problem-solving and investigation skills.
