Description

Are you experienced in all things payroll, with a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines? Do you enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative team environment?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Finance Division in a permanent part-time capacity. This role is primarily based in Hazelmere, with occasional travel to our Northbridge office.
This position would suit someone available to work school hours, Monday to Friday; however, we are also open to discussing alternative working hours. The role offers variety, project work opportunities, and a friendly, inclusive work environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, and supported by the Group Payroll team, you will be responsible for maintaining payroll records and delivering accurate, end-to-end payroll for over 150 salaried staff on a monthly basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process manual pays as required
  • Maintain and update payroll master data
  • Collect, calculate, and enter payroll information
  • Generate payroll reports as required for the business
  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation, and stay informed of any changes and their impact on payroll
  • Assist with month-end and ad-hoc legislative reporting
  • Processing of new starters and terminations
