We are seeking a detail‑driven and proactive Payroll Officer to support our team. As our Payroll Officer, you’ll be responsible for processing end‑to‑end payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll also provide support with payroll queries, reporting, compliance, and maintaining employee records. Key Responsibilities: Process fortnightly and monthly payrolls using Pronto accurately within required timeframes Process and pay employee superannuation contributions in accordance with legislative requirements Administer employee deductions including novated lease, child support and salary sacrifice arrangements Enter new starter information, update details for existing employees, and maintain accurate payroll records. Update Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting for each pay event Reconcile payroll-related provision accounts and prepare end-of-month payroll payments as required Prepare and submit payroll tax reporting in line with regulatory obligations Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll enquiries in a timely and professional manner Assist with annual and ad-hoc audit programs. Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Finance Manager. About You: A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in payroll processing (end to end preferred) Experience using Pronto – desirable Experience using SAP Success Factors – desirable Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Excel Demonstrated experience using Teams, Outlook & other Microsoft applications High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Click the Apply button to start your journey and join the Ausdrill team today.
