About the Team Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) Unit is part of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Students portfolio and was formed in 2021 to enable the alignment of a range of learner acquisition, administration and assurance activities which are critical to the success of the UTS 2027 Strategy and in supporting the UTS Vision. About the Role The Officer, Progressions, Results and Conferral provides high level support to the progressions, results and conferral function, its customers and stakeholders, solving problems supported by policy, providing peer training and developing and analysing system reports. The Officer manages a number of competing priorities while monitoring and ensuring operational and customer service standards are met. This role will be focused on assessing, referring and processing applications for Recognition of Prior Learning, Concurrent Study and processing requests related to maintaining student records data including assessing and processing Tier 2 student enrolment and study plan change requests. However, the Officer, Progressions, Results and Conferral may be assigned to one of six Progressions, Results or Conferral teams throughout the year as required by the workload cycles and demands of the functions, requiring the development of sound understanding of all functions. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: • Ensuring timely service delivery while managing a number of different and competing tasks.• Applying policy and procedure to resolve issues or identifying and referring those which require escalation.• Processing and managing data within the CASS system in an accurate and compliant manner.• Supporting continuous improvement through analysing processing, recommending improvements and assisting the team with their implementation.• Communicating through different channels with a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, academic staff and faculty support staff to clearly articulate required information.• Ensuring activities are carried out in compliance with UTS policies and legislative obligations. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $81,445 to $93,173 pa (HEW 5) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
