Overview: Full-time, Continuing position $93,891 - $101,633 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About You If you enjoy contributing to a fast-paced team that ensures information is accurate and operations run smoothly, this role is for you. As the Officer, Research Contracts, you’ll set up new contract files, maintain clean data, manage records, make sure documents are prepared and sent for review and signature. You’ll be the first point of contact for researchers needing guidance, as well as supporting Contract Managers to ensure the university’s research projects can progress without delays. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy a busy environment, working with existing processes as well as identifying ways for improvement. The role combines administrative duties, customer service and stakeholder engagement. With hybrid work, a supportive team, and the chance to build specialist experience in research contracting, this role is ideal for someone coming from admin, student services, data support or similar roles who wants to step into a more specialised, meaningful space. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Experience in an administrative and/or advisory role, preferably within the higher education sector or an equivalent environment. Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to understand issues at both a broad strategic level and at a detailed operational level. Ability to support multiple projects with different levels of priority and complexity, whilst meeting deadlines in a timely manner. Ability to complete routine administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy Highly motivated, customer focussed and pro-active with highly developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to handle various and multiple functions simultaneously and under pressure. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy - word processing, presentation software, email, internet and correspondence management databases and a demonstrated ability to adapt to new IT environments and systems.
