The Opportunity The purpose of this role is to provide dedicated coordination, logistical, and documentation support for the research and learning agenda of the Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI). The role holder will act as the primary operational link between strategic research design and effective field-level implementation, ensuring the high-quality, timely, and impactful execution of the CSESI national research and consultation agenda. This will be achieved by: (1) meticulously planning and coordinating a series of nationwide consultation workshops to gather diverse stakeholder inputs; (2) aiding in liaison with government authorities, educational institutions, and research partners at the local level; (3) managing all aspects of documentation, reporting, and knowledge management to capture evidence and lessons learned; and (4) providing comprehensive secretarial and coordination support to the CSESI management team. Given the scale of nationwide consultation workshops and evidence-generation activities, this role will oversee all local-level engagements are documented thoroughly, and that all field-level communications with diversified stakeholders are maintained effectively, as instructed by the management. Furthermore, the role-holder will ensure logistics support for workshops is arranged in compliance with Save the Children International's standard operational procedures and quality standards. By excelling in these areas, the role holder will directly contribute to strengthening the evidence base for climate-smart education policies in Bangladesh, ensuring that research activities are not only logistically seamless but also rich in quality and aligned with Save the Children's standards. Qualifications and experience •    Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project coordination, research support, or event management, preferably within an international NGO, research institution, or development program. •    Proven experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or large-scale consultation events, including managing logistics and liaising with diverse stakeholders. •    Experience in supporting research or study activities, including data collection, documentation, and report writing. •    Understanding of the education sector in Bangladesh, particularly issues related to policy, planning, or climate resilience, is a strong asset. •    Knowledge of project cycle management and results-based documentation. •    Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy  •    A high-level skills of written and spoken English   •    Demonstrable ability to work and represent views across different stakeholders taking part in the workshop  •    Post Graduation Degree, preferably in Education/Disaster Management/Social Sciences or relevant discipline The Organisation We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection.
