Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. Job description:


Purpose of the Role

To provide payroll services, advice, queries and support for the project.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for both Blue-Collar and White-Collar employees
  • Prepare and maintain payroll data, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately
  • Collect, calculate, and input payroll information into relevant systems
  • Compile payroll data including earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages
  • Generate routine and ad hoc payroll, financial, and operational reports
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and manage the payroll inbox
  • Liaise with Finance and Cost Control teams to support payroll reporting and reconciliation
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Line Managers on payroll-related processes

Core Accountabilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all payroll processing activities
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively
  • Ensure payroll records and reporting are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Support business operations by delivering reliable payroll data and insights
  • Maintain efficient payroll operations and continuous process improvement
  • Ensure a high level of service delivery and responsiveness to employee and stakeholder queries
  • Uphold confidentiality and security of all payroll and employee information

The employment relationship will be governed by Australia or New Zealand Employment Law.

These positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures which need to be considered before applying for these roles.
