Key Responsibilities: Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Leads all relevant Logistics & Supply Chain instructions, in order to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Certifies that the condition of the products received are being checked, to ensure the well-being of the products and their integrity. Conducts strategy meetings with the supply chain team members to review daily workloads and assignments. Leads the supply chain team members within the site to ensure all supply chain requirements are completed on a daily basis. Picks, packs, stages and loads order movements and prepares all pertinent documentation to accurately receive and put away all incoming products and supplies. Reviews and verifies the data entered on SAP and paper systems by lower-level jobs to ensure that information is accurate and reliable. Coaches and trains lower-level jobs on simple tasks to ensure compliance with set guidelines and SOPs. Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Supply Chain to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards. Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
