Reporting to the Social Program Coordinator, this position is responsible for designing and implementing innovative and meaningful social group activities for the Commonwealth Home Support Program.  We tailor programs to enhance client choice and promote independence. These programs are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing and independence of older persons, frail aged and people with disabilities based on their individual needs and interests. Position Description - Officer Social Programs & Lifestyle [https://www.teatreegully.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0035/1954286/Position-Description-Officer,-Social-Program-and-Lifestyle-February-2026.pdf] About you We are looking for someone who has: * Communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with clients, carers, volunteers and associated Providers. * Understanding of the aims and objectives of the CHSP programs and services. * Competent IT skills that enable the use of corporate systems in the day-to-day work activities. * Energy, enthusiasm and a desire to help people achieve their goals. * Ability to build strong connections with local communities and stakeholders. * Previous experience in working in a community program or community setting with frail aged and/or disability clients will be an advantage.  * Sound knowledge and understanding of health and fitness programs tailored for seniors  * Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent  * A current a DHS Working with Children check (or Aged Care Sector Employment Screening) or the willingness to obtain one * A current Class C Drivers Licence * Current Provide First Aid certificate * Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check   Apply today!
