Description
The position is created to support the maintenance and support of ASSO Group subsea equipment, both onshore and offshore. Installation, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical & electronic/electrical assemblies and systems are part of the day-to-day tasks. Qualified candidates will be keen to develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and keen to participate in offshore projects on a rotation basis (2 months each rotation / 3 rotations per year), as part of the offshore project team. Responsibilities Be part of the team that assembles, installs and tests subsea equipment’s Electrical & Electronic components Repair, troubleshoot and maintain subsea equipment’s Electrical & Electronic components during offshore rotations Ensure that installation and operation conforms to company’s standards and requirements according to electronic/electrical systems specifications and technical drawings. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing equipment. Provide detailed fault feedback Carry out scheduled changes and minor improvements in system’s PLC/SCADA. Operate ROV supporting equipment (e.g., Winch, Frame etc), while on board. Assists in general hands-on tasks as per project requests Bachelor’s degree (AEI or TEI) in Electrical Engineering. 1-3 years of experience in Electrical/ Automation Engineering applications Ability to travel & work on a rotation basis (2 months each rotation / 3 rotations per year) Clear understanding of Automation systems Clear understanding of Electrical Power systems Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills operating with high level of responsibility and independency. Experience with PLC/ SCADA applications and implementation will be an asset.
