Description

RMi Engineering Ltd are a specialist engineering company who work across the Rail, Marine and Renewables sector. Our clients continue to look to us for a variety of services due to our 5 star standards and ability to react both quickly and safely.
We are currently looking for a Offshore Renewables Technician with Experience in a similar mechanical or technical role. The Technician’s primary role will include but not be limited to, turbine inspections, offshore engineering works and maintenance and repair of WTG and OFSS crane equipment.

  • Compact Crane
  • Clean driving licence
  • Quick thinking and solution orientated.
  • Understanding the importance of traceability and associated records.
  • Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment, following clear instructions safely and effectively.
  • Experience in a similar mechanical or technical role.
  • Team Player.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake asset inspections identifying both structural and material defects.
  • Work as part of a team in a safe and effective manner when required.
  • Complete certification using RMi certificate management system.
  • Capture all required data to ensure full reporting can be completed.
  • The ability to understand and work in line with all project documentations.
  • Be available to travel and work away from home.
  • Attend both RMI and third-party sites, both onshore and offshore.
  • Be available to work overtime as required.
  • Liaise with Customers.
