Description Main Purpose: The Scaffold Superintendent performs and coordinates all scaffold project activities including but not limited to the direction of project scheduling, yard operations, cost control and communication with customers, inspectors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Essential Functions: Review project contracts and ensure an in-depth working knowledge of job specifications, material requirements, completion dates etc. Coordinate and direct project activities with appropriate operational personnel to ensure an open flow of communications avoiding delays, cost overruns, fabrications errors etc. Assist the client in developing work packs and associated budgets and sequence of execution Communicate with the Project Manager regarding the scheduling of material delivery, material specifications, origins, the cost to ensure coordination of operational functions and timely receipt of materials in that both will comply with contract specifications and schedules Review and approve work schedules for assigned projects, material requisitions, percentage completed schedules / reports and request from operations regarding specification requirements Work closely with project managers for production planning, schedule, budgets and progress Assist offshore management in developing schedules and maintaining schedules once offshore Ensure proper completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and compliance with safety protocols Lead in safety and company policy compliance while fostering communication, planning and accountability among foremen, leaders and craft personnel Perform other duties assigned by supervisor Benefits Offered: Earned Wage Access Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Life Insurance Disability Insurance Safety Awards Company Store Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Requirements Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, feeling, talking, hearing and seeing Turning, twisting, bending and balancing Pushing, pulling and reaching Must be able to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds Job Requirements: Highschool diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience as a Scaffold Superintendent Ability to pull measurements and read / make drawings on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) paper Valid TWIC card Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical Must be able to pass a background check Tools, Equipment and Technology: Computer and office equipment, offshore equipment, scaffolding equipment Environmental Conditions: 80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet and dry conditions, dust, mud etc. They will also be exposed to paint thinner and paint fumes.
