Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee structural concepts and general planning for offshore platforms and maritime structures, ensuring compliance with safety and stability requirements.
  • Manage the basic design phase and support detailed engineering, including coordination with construction and installation teams.
  • Conduct technical coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, classification societies, and regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to offshore safety standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for tenders and contracts for offshore structures and equipment.
  • Provide technical support for modifications to offshore assets and ensure proper integration of new components and systems.
  • Support supplier negotiations and management throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with procurement and project management teams.
  • Lead the development of general arrangements and safety plans for offshore installations, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Drive the general planning process, including all CAD-related tasks, ensuring seamless integration of structural, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Align offshore platform designs with contractual obligations and develop innovative solutions to optimize space, weight, and stability.
  • Facilitate and moderate interdisciplinary discussions on offshore structure design, safety requirements, and risk assessments, escalating critical issues when necessary.
