Job Description We are seeking experienced Offshore Tank Cleaning Supervisors to oversee and manage tank cleaning operations on offshore oil & gas facilities. The role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of cleaning activities on cargo, ballast, slop and process tanks across FPSOs and offshore platforms. This position suits supervisors with strong offshore experience and hands-on technical knowledge of tank cleaning methodologies, safety procedures, and team leadership in hazardous environments. Key Responsibilities Operational Supervision Supervise offshore tank cleaning operations, including preparation, execution and close-out activities. Coordinate cleaning works for crude oil, produced water, slop and ballast tanks in accordance with approved procedures and permits. Ensure correct use of equipment such as high-pressure water jetting systems, vacuum units, ventilation systems and gas testing devices. Safety & Compliance Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards, confined space entry procedures and offshore safety regulations. Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments and job safety analyses prior to execution. Monitor atmospheric testing, ventilation, isolation and waste handling to ensure safe working conditions at all times. Team Leadership Lead and supervise offshore crews, including operators, technicians and helpers. Provide clear instructions, monitor performance and ensure workforce discipline and productivity. Support training and mentoring of local personnel where required. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with offshore client representatives, marine crews and other service teams to ensure smooth operations. Report daily progress, safety observations, incidents and operational challenges to onshore management. Ensure work scopes are completed within schedule and agreed operational parameters. Qualifications Essential Proven experience as an Offshore Supervisor in tank cleaning operations within oil & gas facilities. Strong understanding of confined space entry, hydrocarbon hazards and offshore safety requirements. Experience working on FPSOs, offshore platforms or marine vessels. Ability to lead multicultural offshore teams effectively. Preferred Offshore safety certification (e.g. BOSIET / FOET). Experience supervising international workforces, particularly Asian expatriate crews. Familiarity with international oil & gas operator standards and procedures. Candidate Profile Safety-focused, hands-on supervisor with strong offshore presence. Confident decision-maker able to manage operations in challenging offshore environments. Flexible and adaptable to long-term offshore assignments in Angola.
