We are seeking a passionate, experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead the launch and ongoing management of a brand-new residential home in Bedford for children with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a unique opportunity to shape the home’s ethos, recruit and inspire your team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.

• Lead the registration and successful setup of the home in line with Ofsted requirements
• Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing care team
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Embed a trauma-informed, child-centred approach to care
• Oversee daily operations of a 2-bed EBD home
• Monitor and drive positive outcomes for children and young people
• Manage budgets, resources, and reporting systems effectively
• Build and maintain a positive, values-led team culture
