REGISTERED MANAGER **

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to work in an Ofsted registered children’s 4 bedroom residential home.
Location: Preston, PR3.
Contract: Permanent. (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £55,000k per annum.

JOB SUMMARY:

The home offers a fully integrated approach to the Education, Care and Clinical support for young people aged 8 to 18 years, who come to us on a full time, residential basis from across the country, with a range of Autistic Spectrum and associated complex needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Manager to work as part of the senior management team and lead a team of hardworking and committed team leaders and support workers.
  • You will provide strong, strategic leadership to drive regulatory success.
  • You will ensure our children and young people enjoy a safe and happy home environment whilst developing their life skills and independence under the guidance and support of the care, therapy and education teams.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a highly developed awareness of safeguarding, team management, and challenges associated with a diagnosis of Autism and other complex difficulties.
  • You will also need to be able to apply the principles of care management and use your exceptional organisational skills together with a high level of accuracy, to ensure the efficient running of a successful care home.

YOUR EXCELLENT PEOPLE SKILLS WILL:

  • Provide inspirational leadership to the staff team.
  • Offer compassionate support and encouragement to our children, young people and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, understanding competing demands of the different professionals.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the range of professionals to ensure the safety, wellbeing and best outcomes for the children and young people we support.
  • Provide support and guidance to families.
