REGISTERED MANAGER - CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL HOME

Location: Solihull
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children’s residential care? We are looking for a Registered Manager to oversee a well-established children’s residential home in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 8 to 18 with complex behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare AND Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level within an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards 2015, and relevant legislation.
• A full UK driving licence is strongly favourable.

• Oversee the management and operation of the home, ensuring a high standard of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team to provide outstanding care and support for young people.
• Ensure that all children and young people have their needs assessed and risk plans regularly reviewed.
• Maintain high occupancy levels through effective referrals and service management.
• Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial procedures are adhered to.
• Work collaboratively with local authorities and external agencies to deliver the best possible care.
• Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
