SUMMARY:

Responsible for administrating the OH&S Program for Jakes Construction and affiliated companies. Assists with employee orientations and safety training. Coordinates and completes all duties while promoting and fostering the company’s culture, core values, and vision. Strives for continual safety program improvement, understands root cause analysis of key performance indicators, employee compliance assessments, familiar with WSBC regulations, SiteDocs and overall company safety culture definition and reinforcement. Works in conjunction with OH&S Safety Manager.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Construction Safety or Occupational Health & Safety training
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
  • Grade 12 mathematics and English
  • Competent with Microsoft Office: specifically Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
