JOB SUMMARY

The QHSE Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This position involves overseeing compliance management, conducting internal audits, and ensuring regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years’ previous experience in a compliance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interface at all levels
  • Strong effective decision making, organisational, time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Motivated team player
  • Competent user of MS Office, in particular Word, Excel & Outlook

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance with systems: ISO 9001,14001, 45001 BRCGS, or future certifications·
  • Integration of management systems
  • Monitoring, control and updating of current legislation concerning the quality and safety system and food safety·
  • Represent the company in all types of QHSE audits·
  • Collaboration with department heads in the consistent deployment of policy and objectives·
  • Issuance, revision and control of the IMS (integrated management systems) manual
  • Writing procedures and instructions in relation to QHSE
  • Maintain the list of IMS documents and records in their latest revision state· Oversee the audit plan for all IMS and the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions resulting from these audits
  • Ensure daily compliance with procedures and standards established by the company in relation to QHSE
  • Review monthly compliance with objectives, action plans and process indicators, reporting results to your line manager, leading the implementation and monitoring of actions that improve processes related to quality systems
  • Establish and ensure compliance with the internal audit plan
  • Act as an internal auditor and operational auditor
  • Boosts internal and external communication on issues of QHSE
  • Raise staff awareness of QHSE issues
  • Issues certificates of analysis and declarations of conformity at the request of customers
  • In coordination with the Quality Manager and HSE Manager:
  • Analyse customer complaints that are determined
  • Determine - where appropriate - the corrective and preventive actions necessary to eliminate the root causes of incidents
  • Develop, review and rollout internal training procedures
