THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Oil Sands Royalty Analyst (AIT) is a member of the Oil Sands Royalty Group, assisting with the OSR royalty reporting for the OSR projects located within the Company’s extensive thermal, E&P and mining oil sands asset base. You will have the unique opportunity to work with various teams in the Company, including operations, while broadening your finance and industry knowledge.

• Job location : Calgary, Alberta
• Shift schedule: 5 x 2 - Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Analyze and prepare monthly OSR project royalty reports
• Analyze and prepare annual OSR project End-of-Period Statements
• Assist with OSR royalty audits
• Assist in preparing OSR royalty forecasts
• Assist in preparing applications for new OSR projects and for expansions to currently approved OSR projects
• Assist in the completion of special projects

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enroll in CPA Professional Education Program
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
• Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
• EnterpriseOne or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software
• Data Access Studio
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Experience in the oil and gas industry considered an asset
