The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of both classic and modern cocktails, with proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced food and beverage environment. As an Old Tucson Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences by crafting quality beverages with consistency and creativity. You will showcase your skills in preparing both traditional and innovative drinks while providing attentive, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide prompt, friendly service. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in keeping with Old Tucson standards and recipes. Create classic and specialty cocktails with accuracy, creativity, and consistency. Verify guest identification and age requirements before serving alcoholic beverages. Make drink suggestions and recommendations based on guests’ tastes and preferences. Monitor guest consumption and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, prep stations, utensils, and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Maintain a fully stocked and organized bar, supporting inventory control, restocking, and assisting with opening and closing procedures. Accurately process transactions through POS and handle cash responsibly. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and quality regulations, as well as alcohol service laws. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences. Qualifications Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two (2) years of bar or restaurant experience, including drink preparation. Current beverage service certification, or other certifications as required by federal, state, or local law. Must meet the state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol. Experience with TOAST POS system preferred. Positive, engaging personality with a professional appearance. Strong basic math and computer skills. Confident mixologist with experience serving beer and wine. Ability to perform well under pressure and work effectively as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Keen attention to detail with knowledge of drink mixing tools and techniques. Must meet the state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol. Work Environment: Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs. Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be able to walk, stand, and maneuver safely on uneven surfaces. Flexible schedule required, with availability for extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
