FULL TIME AND PART TIME AVAILABLE

As a Host, you will…

  • Welcome guests to the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing an excellent first impression.
  • Manage the guest seating efficiently, considering table availability, server rotations, and guest preferences.
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries, provide information about the restaurant, and assist with reservations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area, including tidying menus, or assisting clearing tables as required.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and ensure smooth transitions between guests.
  • Monitor and manage wait times, offering alternatives or complimentary services as appropriate during peak periods.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
  • Assist with catering support shifts for various events on the estate as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high service standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support servers and other staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and efficient.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on exceptional guest service.
