OUR INDEPENDENCE LEADERSHIP MISSION

Join our progressive educational leadership team where you’ll guide emerging toddlers (18-30 months) through self-reliance building while providing strategic program coordination across our facility. This unique dual role combines independence-focused classroom expertise with operational oversight, championing vocabulary explosion, practical skills, and social awareness during this transformative period. Our low adult-to-child ratios ensure meaningful connections as children master independence while you guide our educational programming.

EDUCATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE:

  • Design developmentally appropriate learning frameworks and assessment protocols for all age groups
  • Monitor and evaluate children’s developmental achievements across all programs
  • Foster strong family partnerships through individualized development planning
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and developmental record management

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology, Child Studies, Early Childhood Education, or behavioral sciences required
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience with toddlers (18-30 months) required
  • Valid Pennsylvania protective clearances (FBI, State Police, Child Protection) required

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in educational settings required
  • Proven curriculum development and educational planning abilities required
  • Experience with independence-building and practical life activities required
  • Minimum 30 hours weekly commitment required

COACHING & LEADERSHIP STRENGTHS:

  • Deep knowledge of independence development and self-assertion stages
  • Proven leadership abilities and staff development experience
  • Patience with strong-willed, autonomy-seeking personalities
  • Excellent communication skills for language-immersion environments and staff coordination
