Job Overview: Oliver Wyman is seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional to serve as the Head of Recruiting for the Asia Pacific region. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the entirety of the recruiting function in the region, driving our recruitment strategy and execution across all job families (i.e., Experienced Hiring, Partner Hiring, Entry Level, Internships, Specialist Hiring, Support Professionals Recruiting and contingent workforce). The Director of Recruiting will act as the strategic architect of our talent acquisition function, responsible for attracting, engaging, and securing top-tier talent aligned with our firm’s vision and regional growth ambitions. This role demands strategic thought leadership in talent acquisition and deep understanding of the evolving talent market in management consulting across a complex regional talent landscape. The role requires an innovative, results-oriented, data-driven, and inclusive leader with a passion for people who will inspire and drive the evolution in our recruiting strategy leveraging technology to drive effectiveness and process efficiencies. The Director of Recruiting will lead, mentor and inspire a high performing recruitment team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion and accountability. Ideal candidates will possess a proven track record in recruiting senior executives and/or Partners, building high-performing teams in professional services industries, developing clear and compelling recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives, leading the recruitment operations for a region as well as partnering with senior leaders on evolving our recruitment efforts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a forward-thinking recruitment strategy aligned with business growth objectives adapting to evolving talent market dynamics in management consulting Champion innovative sourcing methods, leveraging data analytics, market insights, and emerging technologies (potentially including AI) to enhance recruitment effectiveness and a best-in-class candidate experience Manage and maintain effective and strategic employment relationships with 3rd party vendors Enhance OW’s employer brand through compelling storytelling, strategic partnerships, and targeted outreach that resonate with high-calibre talent pools Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and accountability Collaborate closely with the regional Executive Director of Talent, Region Head, FP&A, Regional COO and Practice Leaders to align talent acquisition priorities with business unit strategies and human capital priorities, advising business leaders on their recruitment goals, to ensure alignment with business needs Work collaboratively with marketing to ensure that OW’s value proposition is well understood in the marketplace particularly on campuses and help set and manage expectations of candidates Work collaboratively with the other regions recruiting functions to help drive best practices and knowledge sharing and ensure a consistent employee value proposition Provide insights to business leaders on regional recruiting trends and competitive intelligence and share knowledge with the global community of recruiters Integrate inclusive hiring practices and metrics to build high performance teams that drive innovation and reflect the clients and communities we serve Define and monitor recruitment KPIs, ensuring transparent reporting and continuous optimization of recruitment processes and outcomes Uphold the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance in all recruiting activities Drive results through effective team and individual performance, setting clear goals and managing accountability Build relationships with senior recruiting team members in Marsh to understand how we might leverage the scaled recruiting resources of Marsh Experience Required: Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 15+ years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced and dynamic client services business environment, with a preference for senior executive recruiting experience in management consulting A proven track record of building high performance recruiting function in a professional services environment Demonstrated ability to balance shifting work demands in a challenging environment while satisfying numerous stakeholders Experience of understanding, balancing, and satisfying numerous stakeholders at different levels in the organization and leading teams effectively Proven track record in Executive search and end to end recruitment at the senior level Experience in building ad managing contingent workforces Proven capability to cultivate relationships at organizational levels Experience in developing and utilizing analytics to inform sound recommendations and decisions Experience in capacity planning, complex budgets, and engaging multiple stakeholders A strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects, while inspiring and empowering team members Proven ability to successful nurture and grow a high-performance team culture Skills and Attributes: Ability to build and manage a high-performance team across a diverse set of countries Garner internal respect based on results orientation, as well as an open, collaborative, consultative demeanor Proficient in consensus building across multiple business areas with exceptional communication skills Proven business leader with strong business acumen and partnership capabilities.
