About the Role: The Fit & Wear Test Analyst is responsible for evaluating the comfort, fit, performance, and durability of OluKai footwear throughout the product creation process. This role partners closely with Development, Design, PLM teams to run structured fit sessions, coordinate wear tests, capture actionable insights, and ensure all products meet OluKai’s standards for comfort, craft, and quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, consumer-obsessed, and passionate about understanding how product performs in real-world conditions. You will help guide product decisions through data-driven testing, clear documentation, and thoughtful recommendations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct structured fit sessions, record findings, and provide actionable feedback to Development and Design. Manage wear test programs—participant coordination, sample distribution, instructions, timelines, and data collection. Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate test reports, databases, and documentation of all fit and wear test results. Assess comfort, support, sizing consistency, lasting, adjustability, and break-in performance across footwear types. Collaborate with PLM and Design to ensure product intent aligns with consumer fit expectations and targeted use cases. Track and review product revisions to confirm that updates address previous fit or wear issues. Support the creation of fit standards, testing protocols, and best practices across categories. Assist in identifying testers that reflect target consumers across gender, size, activity level, and geography. Participate in on-foot testing, field testing, and in-environment evaluations when required. Provide objective, clear recommendations to influence design, pattern, and construction decisions. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Product Testing, Human Factors, or related field; or equivalent experience. 1+ years in a fit, wear test, QA, development, biomechanics, or footwear testing role (footwear/apparel strongly preferred). Strong understanding of footwear anatomy, construction, and performance principles. Excellent observational skills and ability to translate feedback into structured insights. Strong communication skills—able to articulate technical recommendations to cross-functional partners. Highly organized with strong documentation, reporting, and data tracking abilities. Comfort coordinating test participants and managing multiple concurrent testing cycles. Familiarity with testing protocols, sizing systems, and wear patterns; lab testing exposure a plus. Passion for product creation, problem solving, and understanding how consumers experience footwear. Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $85,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
