Description

The Royal Yachting Association, based in Hamble, near Southampton, is the National Governing Body for all forms of recreational, competitive and professional boating. It represents dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, RIBs and sportsboats, windsurfing, inland cruising and personal watercraft.

LOCATION: HAMBLE (HYBRID WORKING)

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Olympic Operations Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of the RYA’s Olympic Programme, including the British Sailing Team (BST) and British Sailing Squad (BSS).
Reporting to the Olympic Operations Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic performance environment, providing world-class administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of training and competition schedules for elite athletes and coaches.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Proven experience in a busy, dynamic office environment
· Experience with international travel and event logistics
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
· Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· UK driving licence

· Supporting events such as team camps and annual dinners
· Communicating effectively with athletes, coaches, venues, and partners
· Contributing to the continuous improvement of operations systems and processes
