JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, particularly in sushi preparation, and will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity in menu planning, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in fine dining establishments is preferred.
  • Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and serving is essential.
  • Demonstrated knife skills and knowledge of various fish types and their preparation methods.
  • Familiarity with dietary department practices or as a dietary aide is a plus.
