About the Role: Coordinates and oversees regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman quality program operations Develops, implements, and monitors quality standards, policies, and improvement plans for regional Ombudsman programs Provides technical assistance and guidance to regional ombudsmen and program directors on Ombudsman core services Monitors quality review processes, key performance indicators, and compliance with state and federal standards Supports the Designation Services Review (DSR) process and collaborates with state staff to identify improvement strategies Conducts comprehensive quality analyses of Ombudsman core practices, including complaint handling, advocacy, facility presence, and volunteer management Develops tools, dashboards, and reports to evaluate program performance, effectiveness, and impact Analyzes Ombudsman data to inform policy development, quality improvement, and strategic planning efforts Assists with data quality initiatives and improvements to Ombudsman data systems Develops and delivers training on Ombudsman core services, quality practices, and professional standards Prepares reports and recommendations for management and communicates findings to internal and external stakeholders Participates in special projects, meetings, and cross-team initiatives as assigned Provides high-quality customer service and supports the mission of the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman For more in-depth job duties, please click here to view the position description. Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science or pre-medicine; 24 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider; 6 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques. -Or completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related field; 18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider; 6 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
