Description
The primary function of this role is to take administrative responsibility for the content of the online store and ensure an excellent customer experience. Do you have experience in ecommerce or a related field with strong organisational skills? Responsibilities: Correct & timeous loading of product to the website via Omni-product, bashPIM or Retool including sourcing of images and specs from suppliers & Buyers Managing the homepage layout via Strapi, in line with the marketing calendar Setting up storefronts, building collections and categories on the website (this may include briefing creative elements to internal studio for missing banners) Assist with correct & timeous setup of website promotions via VTEX and Monday.com briefing template Evaluating the website taxonomy from time to time, ensuring that the ecommerce merchandising principles are implemented, measured and optimised regularly Discussing SEO with bash for particular categories Customer liaison (complaints) via the Customer Service team related to product spec and descriptions Logging tickets on Slack and following-up for any technical issues Qualifications and Experience: Min Grade 12 At least 1 year in a similar role Skills: Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies Good numeracy and analytical skills Systematic and strategic approach to tasks, with the ability to work well under pressure Customer service focussed Attention to detail, in terms of info accuracy for every product Ability to communicate in English effectively, verbally and via email, across marketing and merchant teams Experience with MS Office and Google Suite Basic copywriting skills for product and banner titles and descriptions Monday.com and Slack experience would be an advantage Google Analytics use or experience or certificate would be an advantage Ability to read and download Qlik product and stock reports would be an advantage Behaviours: effectively considers the diverse needs of various stakeholders applies market and business insights in order to drive organisational objectives conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise and impactful manner understands, anticipates, and meets the needs and expectations of customers takes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targets interprets and simplifies complex and contradictory information when resolving organisational problems develops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectives leverages new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving, and support business growth Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act. #LI-MS1
