JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager / Network Engineer / Helpdesk Technician to join our IT support team. Plexus8 specializes in law firms but also services the SMB market generally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring that their IT infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of various IT systems, and software.

SKILLS

  • Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Windows, macOS, hardware, networking, firewalls, WiFi, VPNs, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, MS-Office, Adobe Acrobat, HorneSecurity, Retrospect, and more.
  • Experience with Atera, Splashtop, IT Glue, Monday.com.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess problems effectively and provide solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, remote session, email, and/or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems and applications.
  • Perform proactive maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize project management software to manage and complete projects.
  • Collaborate with team members on disaster recovery / backup implementation, management, and support.
  • Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate solutions or upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and processes for future reference.
