ON-CALL BANQUET HOUSEMAN The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is seeking a reliable and hardworking On-call Banquet Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring a clean and organized environment for guests and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms according to event specifications. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events. * Transport tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment as needed. * Support banquet servers and other staff during events. * Respond promptly when called in for on-call shifts. * Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. * Perform other related duties as assigned. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Previous experience as a banquet houseman or similar role preferred. * Ability to read an event BEO preferred. * Ability to work on-call and respond quickly when needed. * Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items over 50lbs * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness. * Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
