  Job Title:  On-Call Community Drives Driver Department:  Community Drives Reports To:  Community Drives & Partnership Manager FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt Position Type:  Temporary Safety Sensitive:  Yes   Job Summary: Provide drop-off and pickup support to Community Drives Manager and Community Drives team. Operate and maintain 26 ft box truck. Read, understand, and follow daily driving routes and manage responsible donation stops.   Specific Duties: * Read, understand, and follow daily driving routes  * Physically lift and transport full donation bins  * Set up/break down donation bins  * Assist in processing donations and provide backup inventory support for drives team  * Provide support at media/special event pickups  * Performs any other duties assigned by Community Drives Manager or Director  * Participate in and serve as a model for SVdP’s Culture of Philanthropy, and ensure SVdP volunteers feel welcomed and appreciated * * Volunteer engagement and appreciation, as well as Culture of Philanthropy participation are part of all job descriptions at SVdP, and a very important part of the organizational culture and values   Hiring Requirements Qualifications: * High school diploma, GED or equivalent * Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach and lift 30 pounds are required for this position. * Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate orally and in writing required.
