Our spa serves a discerning clientele and is known for its tranquil setting and exceptional service standards. Position Overview We are seeking talented and service-driven Massage Therapists to join our Spa team on a flexible, on-call or part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury environment with an established guest base and strong seasonal demand. Compensation We offer a competitive pay structure that combines hourly pay with significant gratuity potential: Hourly base rate dependent on experience. Service Gratuity dependent on treatment $250 credit annually for continuing education Typical total earnings average $70+ per service hour, depending on treatment. What to Expect Strong guest demand and consistent booking volume during peak season (May–October) High-end clientele with generous gratuity patterns Flexible scheduling with opportunities for regular hours A supportive, professional spa team Services Offered Our spa menu includes a variety of modalities, including: Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Thai, Ashiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Prenatal Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage. Therapists are not expected to be trained in all modalities—training is available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Deliver customized, high-quality massage treatments Provide a warm, polished, and attentive guest experience Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism Contribute to a calm and seamless spa environment Qualifications Current Connecticut Massage Therapy License (required) Strong communication and guest service skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Luxury spa experience preferred, but not required Additional Experience (a plus) Facials, body treatments, or hydrotherapy services Requirements Must hold current state certificate. Candidates need not be experienced in all services offered but the more the better. Our spa also offers a full line of facial, tub & body treatments so candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply. We are looking for enthusiastic people who have excellent customer service skills. Experience in a luxury spa is preferable but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
