Description Job Title: On-Call Security Officer Location: Luther Village Senior Living Community – Arlington Heights Schedule: On-Call | 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Must be available 7 days a week, including holidays Position Overview Luther Village Senior Living Community is seeking a dependable and professional On-Call Security Officer to provide evening coverage on an as-needed basis. This position covers vacations, sick days, and other staffing needs. The ideal candidate understands the importance of safety, customer service, and professionalism in a senior living environment. This role requires flexibility and availability during evening hours, including weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities Monitor and secure the community during evening hours (5:00 PM – 1:00 AM) Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds Respond promptly to resident and staff concerns Monitor entrances and ensure visitor check-in procedures are followed Complete incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and guests Qualifications Prior security experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment in emergency situations Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Ability to walk for extended periods and work independently Must be available on an on-call basis 7 days per week, including holidays Why Join Us?
