Location: Nederland, Colorado Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. We are seeking skilled and dependable On-Call Night Shift Snow Removal Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to efficiently clear snow from roads and parking lots to ensure optimal conditions for our guests. As an on-call position, flexibility and readiness to work during adverse weather conditions are essential. This position will report to our Snowplow Supervisor who will determine and communicate on call shifts based on weather and clean up needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate various heavy equipment, such as front loaders, skid steer, and plow trucks to remove snow from key areas of the resort, including roads and parking lots. Be available on scheduled days to come in and remove snow from the base area as needed. Learn the proper plowing patterns and snow push areas of the roads and parking lots. Be willing to track snowfall reports and adjust to them accordingly. Maintain equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance and reports issues or repairs to Snowplow supervisor. Coordinate with other staff including supervisors and managers to prioritize snow removal tasks and respond to urgent requests. Work independently for extended periods of time. Perform daily equipment inspections to address any mechanical issues promptly.
