The FA is searching for an On-Field Football Regulation Officer to join our Legal and Governance Division. This exciting opportunity will assist the On-Field Football Regulation team in all matters relating to the work of the department.

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Investigate, gather evidence and assist with the charging process for on-field disciplinary matters.
  • Investigate, gather evidence and assist with the charging process for crowd control/supporter misconduct cases.
  • Assist with reviewing all cases and footage handled by the On-Field Football Regulation Department to provide an assessment of how to progress each case.
  • Coordinate and assist in delivering the club visit programme on behalf of On-Field Football Regulation and Integrity Departments.
  • Provide administrative support and customer service for internal and external stakeholders, specifically including Communications, Customer Relations, Integrity, Legal, Case Management, Match Officials, Club Officials and Competitions.
  • Assist the Football Regulation team in all matters relating to the work of the department, including the payment of invoices and other administrative tasks.
  • Support the Integrity Department and Regulatory Legal Department with tasks as directed by the On-Field Football Regulation Manager.
  • Assist with the processing of discipline, including cautions and dismissals.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA’s changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

Essential for the role:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in dealing with highly sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrable experience investigating and gathering evidence on cases.
  • Experience reviewing information and using this review to provide assessments on how to move forward.
  • Ability to show proactivity to completing workload, and working towards specific deadlines.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service.
  • High attention to detail
