Job Description Summary Economic Value and Pricing Team This team have strategic responsibility for the thermo-economic modeling and pricing of a wide range of transactions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Those transactions may include but are not limited to equipment only hardware, engineered equipment packages, and turnkey offerings. The specific customer goals, GE product offerings, competitor offerings, and thermo-economics creates an opportunity to tailor a GE solution. The GE solution needs to be priced competitively while also balancing GE’s financial objectives. The team works closely with other regions to help drive global consistency in the tools and methods used in thermo-economic modeling and pricing. The team play a key role in total plant pricing as it relates to partner selection and division of responsibility. This will involve working with Partnering team to guide selection and price targets. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with global team to drive consistency in tools and methods Support developing standard work in how customer economics are modeled, and specific transactions are priced. Ensure customer economics are being modeled with discipline. Ensure that key assumptions are being debated with team members and documented Prepare dashboards that support visual daily management to ensure key business. Job Description Role Summary The On Job Training (Foras) Program is a 6 months program and it is an investment in Bahraini young talents where GE Vernova trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The traineeship will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures. Responsibilities During the program GE Vernova will provide assignments, projects & tasks that is related to his/her major where he/ she can develop Leadership Capabilities, communication skills and introduce him/her to the work environment. Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing tools. What Do You Bring: Fresh graduates up to 24 months of experience BS Engineering –Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Industrial or related engineering back ground preferred Eligible for The Foras program by Ministry of Labour and Tamkeen Candidate will not be registered in Gosi for the duration of the program • Active listener with good communication skills in English. • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Proactive with high level of integrity and committed to process improvement. • Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction. • A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams. How To Stand Out: Master’s degree (MBA) or other advanced learning Understanding of Power Plant design, operation, and its equipment.
