  Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring an On Premise Sales Manager. Summary  Manages sales activities of the On-Premise sales division. Focuses on building brands and developing people. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.  Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly, by weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goal setting. Supplier interaction in developing programs and pricing that will impact the market for both distributors and suppliers. Supplier interaction in scheduling work-withs, dinners, and trade functions.  Orders sample products and monitoring of usage. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.  Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.  Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.  Monitors key account sales and develops action plans to increase business. Conducts supervisor and sales person work-withs. Assists in sales presentations to top, key accounts. Monitors keg delivery and service. Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.  Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.  Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.  Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.  Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.  Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.  Supervisory Responsibilities  Manages Area Manger and indirectly manages seven District Managers who supervise between thirty seven and forty three teammates, Fine Wine Manager, Beer and Non-Alcohol Manager, and subordinate employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises the Draft Technician. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems  Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
