We are looking to recruit an On-Site Fitter to join our busy production team. Working from our Norfolk base, you will be required to work on customer sites throughout the UK with early starts/weekends and occasional overnights; however, when not working on site you will be based at our furniture manufacturing and production workshops and warehouse in Larling, Norfolk.
We are looking for candidates with the following practical skills and experience:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Excellent general DIY skills
• Good hands-on knowledge of assembling furniture
• Ability to use electric hand tools, e.g. electric screwdriver
• Experience using a bandsaw and utility knife (to cut foam)
• Full, clean driving licence essential
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Good timekeeper
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to use a measure to take accurate measurements (e.g. measuring table tops)
• Ability to mix glues in accurate proportions for gluing furniture
• Manual handling knowledge (some heavy lifting required)
• Wrapping furniture ready for despatch
• Loading and unloading furniture for despatch/delivery
• Driving and making deliveries
• Good literacy skills
• Ability to prepare reports and report back to head office
• Excellent customer service skills as you will be representing the company on site
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate on all levels
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work with ability to produce quality work
• CSCS card is desirable
