JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

As a Junior Systems Administrator, you’ll be pivotal in delivering top-tier service to our clients. Acting as a technical leader and the first point of escalation beyond Level 1 Help Desk, you’ll handle complex technical challenges and play a key role in supporting server and network infrastructure. This includes diagnosing and resolving customer issues using advanced management platforms and remote access tools.
With at least three years of advanced technical experience, you’ll troubleshoot and maintain a variety of applications and environments, such as Windows servers, domain configurations, RDS, Citrix, cloud and virtual platforms, and EMR/LoB systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting both Servers and Workstations or equivalent
  • Familiarity with system architecture principles is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and their administration.
  • Understanding of DNS configuration and management.
  • Experience with computer management tasks in a professional setting is preferred.
  • Exposure to PL/SQL or similar database management languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of load balancing concepts and practices is beneficial.
  • Experience with ESXi or other virtualization technologies is desirable.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Follow internal processes and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate within teams to meet goals and resolve issues.
  • Manage Windows Server environments, including Domain Server roles and Group Policy.
  • Troubleshoot basic networking (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and routing).
  • Administer cloud, virtual environments, and SSL certificates.
  • Recover or rebuild client systems and applications.
  • Occasionally work after-hours or travel to client sites.
  • Understand technical manuals and procedural documentation.
  • Participate in technical meetings and mentor junior staff.
  • Complete annual training and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
