MGR Property Management is a large management company in Southern California managing HOAs, residential, and commercial properties. MGR is a family owned and operated business since 1983 with a strong and diverse team reaching from Barstow to San Diego.
We are currently looking to add a Full time On-Site Manager for an apartment complex in Fontana, CA. The ideal candidate would be organized, work well with a team and independently, and have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to live on-site at the apartment community in Fontana
  • Strong communication skills to communicate between vendors, tenants, and property management team
  • Strong organizational skills and able to work independently
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

The On-Site Manager is responsible for the successful management of their complex. This may include, but is not limited :

  • Complete work orders and confer with the appropriate vendors and reporting tenant to ensure that the work is completed and satisfactory
  • Inspect the interior of the units, community areas, and outside of the property
  • Enforce lease regulations with the tenants and give notices as necessary
  • Renew leases with tenants as leases expire
  • Lease vacancies and coordinate cleaning, repairs, etc. during turnover
  • Review monthly rent rolls and contact tenants with balances owed for collection or to coordinate payment plans
  • Troubleshoot tenant and ownership questions on their portals to ensure their access to reports, financials, payment options, etc.
  • Process tenant move-in, move-out, inspection reports, etc. and maintain detailed data in the Yardi software
  • Correspond directly with tenants, maintenance personnel, etc. to answer questions and provide quality service
  • Accept and review applications for vacant units to ensure applicants meet application requirements
  • Report to Property Manager at corporate office to ensure appropriate completion of reports, ledgers, etc.
  • Other items as needed for the successful management of the portfolio of properties
