Job Summary Acts as the technical specialist and primary customer support contact, independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and completing repairs on Cummins products at a single customer site. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery in compliance with Cummins standards and processes. Key Responsibilities Independently diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs on engines, power generation systems, and ATS at customer sites. Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring prompt and efficient response to service needs to minimize product downtime. Maintain productive and professional customer relationships through clear communication and customer-focused service delivery. Coach customer technicians and/or less experienced technicians on preventive maintenance and repair activities; may provide work direction and review repair plans, parts lists, and tool requirements. Manage parts, tools, and spare inventory at the work site to ensure availability and accuracy. Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to supervisors or product specialists in a timely manner. Complete all required service documentation including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents using handwritten forms or business systems. Identify and communicate additional service and sales opportunities at the customer site. Complete required technical and safety training in line with skill and business requirements. Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition. Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and legislation; proactively report incidents, hazards, or near misses to site management and supervisors.
