Reporting to the Operations Manager the Supervisor manages the operations of all production departments within their area
of responsibility, ensuring that productivity, quality, cost control, safety, people, and customer satisfaction targets are
achieved. The Supervisor Performs root cause analysis if any of the targets are not met and develops corrective action and
continuous improvement plans to meet or exceed targets.
We have an exciting opportunity for an On Site Supervisor at our Montreal, QC location. .
Coordinates the operations of all production departments in the unit. Ensures that production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction. Reports issues regarding production, quality, maintenance, or personnel problems.
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Mobiles & On-sites, the On-site Supervisor will be responsible for the site’s repair requirements and for ensuring that Procor employees work safely and in a Responsible Care environment. This position is responsible for achieving or exceeding key performance indicators through the optimum performance of the operation and on-site team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of team leadership and business management experience.
  • Experience in process management, quality assurance, and rail repair is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong safety record.
  • Experience working in confined spaces and or at heights is an asset.
  • Experience with AAR rules and M1002/M1003 standards is beneficial.
  • Proficient in computer use, especially with Office 365.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on planning and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of performing effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-building capabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight as necessary.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on expanding the customer base and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Provides strong leadership to staff, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Achieves facility production goals while managing expenses effectively.
  • Develops team skills for succession planning to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Leads by example to create a positive safety culture
  • Maintains communication with customers to achieve the customer’s goals.
  • Implements and drives initiatives for operational improvement and growth.
  • Enforce company and customer safety rules.
  • Submits required metrics and documentation promptly.
  • Manages materials and inventory to optimizing service and cost management.
  • Ensures proper staffing levels and supports team development.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
