About the Role As our Onsite Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, people‑first technology experience across our Wellington Head Office and wider Wellington region. Sitting within our Digital Service Experience team, this is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you’ll provide frontline technology support through our Tech Bar and onsite services. You’ll be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day workplace technology needs, ensuring our people are supported, connected and productive. Working closely with the Service Desk, Digital teams, business stakeholders and external partners, you’ll support everything from new starter setups and meeting room technology through to village go‑lives and office fit‑outs. Your Day‑to‑Day Will Include: Providing walk‑up and onsite support across Head Office and regional sites Logging, managing and resolving incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk platform, including triage and escalation where required Supporting workplace technology including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, AV and meeting room technology Monitoring and proactively maintaining meeting room and collaboration technology, including Microsoft Teams Rooms Preparing, provisioning and deploying devices for new starters and managing technology offboarding Maintaining accurate asset registers, inventories and device records Supporting technology readiness for new villages, care centres and offices, including on‑site support during go‑lives Working with project teams to ensure technology solutions are implemented smoothly and reliably Creating and contributing to knowledge articles, self‑service resources and continuous improvement initiatives Providing friendly, professional and solutions‑focused customer service at all times About You You’re a customer‑focused technology support professional who enjoys being hands‑on and visible. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, and resolving issues with a calm, practical approach. You understand the importance of reliability and service in a care‑focused environment and take pride in delivering a great user experience.
