Job Purpose The Onboard Marketing Team Leader oversees the Naples based team that delivers all onboard marketing communication for MSC Cruises, ensuring timely, high quality, and strategically prioritized communications across all onboard channels (print and digital) to inform guests and drive revenue. Key Accountabilities • Team Leadership: Manage the Naples-based team responsible for developing onboard marketing content (print and digital) across all onboard departments. Ensure team alignment with company objectives, goals, and new projects. • Project Management: Oversee incoming project requests and tactical actions from supported departments, assign tasks to team members, track progress, and provide regular updates until completion. • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal and external agencies to establish and maintain project timelines. Lead weekly project alignment call with internal creative agency and Onboard Marketing Team, escalating to the Head of Onboard Marketing when project delays are anticipated. • Corporate Collaboration: Maintain strategic alignment with Head of Onboard Marketing and other leaders in the Corporate Marketing Team and key local offices. • Brand Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards. • Innovation & Strategy: Keep onboard marketing at the forefront of industry standards by leading the team to propose new strategies based on competitive analysis and guest feedback. • Budget Management: Manage purchase orders related to onboard marketing projects. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing lead / manager role within hospitality or guest communication. Experience working on board cruise ships is an advantage. • Fluent (C1) English and Italian. Any additional language is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field. • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing projects involving multiple departments. • Passion for enhancing guest experience through timely and effective marketing. • Strategic Thinking & Prioritization. • Project Management & Organizational Skills.
