Description

As an Onboarding and Coaching Lead you will be responsible for developing and delivering our new starter induction programs, providing support and developing people to exceed their targets. This will require the implementation of the full training cycle from Training Needs Analysis to Evaluation.
In this role, you will be able to shape and develop new employees for our Customer Service and Sales Teams. This is a great role for someone with a passion for travel and a drive to support our people to excel.
As a key part of the onboarding process reliability and accountability will play a big part in the role as well as being able to engage groups and make learning fun. As the first point of contact, you will be an ambassador for the company and will be responsible for promoting and setting professional standards whilst fostering a positive experience.
The Onboarding and Coaching Lead will be the first point of contact for new starters and provide support for our existing staff by providing coaching, delivering refresher training and buzz sessions.
Reporting to the Head of Training you’ll have an opportunity to learn new skills and develop your learning and development knowledge and help shape the onboarding experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Training experience is desirable
  • Cruise Travel Knowledge is Essential
  • Internal systems and processes knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent IT skills a good working knowledge of G Suite Function/Microsoft office
  • Experience of digital content authoring tools an advantage but not essential
  • A keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Hold a level 3 in education and training or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high-quality classroom and remote training sessions and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Design deliver and update training materials
  • Support new starters into the business providing a high-quality onboarding experience from recruitment to delivery to their team.
  • Work collaboratively with the training team
  • Assist with administering training events from external sources
  • Liaise with suppliers and other departments to assist in the planning and organising of training
  • Assist in updating supplier information on the Learning Management System
  • Assist and support the team to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to check accuracy of training information
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Code of Conduct, Security, IT and Internal Control Financial Regulation
  • Coaching responsibilities include, coaching, developing individuals and teams to improve performance and exceed KPIs set, you will also look to improve the customer experience at every interaction, in turn helping to reduce errors within the operation
