Role Overview and Key Responsibilities: This role will support Mandate Operations Onboarding & Broker Management activities, ensuring that mandate system integration, mandate lifecycle initiatives, and counterparty onboarding provide robust processing support for investment activities. The successful candidate will contribute APAC operational perspectives to global initiatives, ensuring that regional requirements and operational nuances are appropriately represented. Success in this role requires an adaptable, creative, and curious approach to supporting corporate initiatives and navigating complex lifecycle events. Proactive engagement and relationship-building with internal departments—including Investment, Client Group, Product, and multiple Operations teams—and with external service providers and business partners will also be essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Onboarding and Mandate Lifecycle Management * Support APAC onboarding change activities (excluding Taiwan and Indonesia), including new mandate integration, inter-entity delegations, mandate changes, and terminations. * Manage the setup of new and incremental market access and APAC-managed mandates on Aladdin. * Support operational changes to ensure readiness for new clients, products, and regional initiatives. * Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and broker management activities in partnership with London and UST locations. 2. Process Discipline, Quality, and Risk Controls * Apply consistent, best-practice onboarding and broker management processes across relevant activities. * Monitor market and regulatory changes, updating processes as needed. * Maintain the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) for the function; proactively address error trends and mitigate operational risks.   3. Stakeholder Engagement and Service Delivery * Build strong relationships across Operations, Investment, Product, Client Group, Legal, Trading, and with external partners such as Clearers, Fund Accountant, Transfer Agents and Custodians. * Deliver specialist operational support and ensure high service standards for internal and external clients. * Support client due diligence and provide clear presentations as required.   4. Reporting, Oversight, and Continuous Improvement * Ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and timely management reporting. * Collaborate with Investment Change, Legal, and Trading for the delivery of new platforms and consistent processes. * Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, practices, and control standards. Requirements * A demonstrable track record in onboarding operations and broker management. * Strong background in asset management, with comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end asset lifecycle and financial instruments (equities, fixed income, mutual funds, FX, derivatives). * Experienced with Aladdin (advantageous) and highly proficient in Excel. * Deep understanding of operational risk, control frameworks, and global regulatory requirements (e.g., EMIR, Dodd Frank, Solvency II, MiFID, FATCA, CRS). * Excellent project, process, analytical, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail. * Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide. * Demonstrates a collaborative, adaptable, and innovative approach, open to feedback and continuous improvement. * Skilled at prioritization, organization, and delivering work accurately within agreed timelines.
