OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Onboarding Coordinator to lead our onboarding processes and ensure a seamless transition for new hires into our organization. This role is crucial in fostering a positive employee experience to welcome new workers into our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Share Point
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Experience in human resources, particularly in onboarding roles is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire onboarding journey from the moment a candidate accepts an offer until they are fully integrated into the company.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, answering questions, providing guidance, and addressing concerns throughout the onboarding process.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions, ensuring new employees receive training on company policies, culture, and job expectations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific onboarding needs.
  • Utilize systems such as Workhub, Site Docs, and Share Point to manage employee records and track onboarding progress.
  • Maintain communication with new hires throughout the onboarding process to address any questions or concerns.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of onboarding programs, gathering feedback from new hires and making adjustments to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Support employee relations initiatives by fostering a welcoming environment for all new hires.
  • Collaborate with HR, HSE, and Hiring departments to ensure new hires have the necessary tools, access, and information from the outset.
