This role ensures smooth, timely, and professional experience for providers by serving as the primary point of contact and coordinating with multiple departments. The coordinator must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. JOB DUTIES Serve as the main liaison for providers during the onboarding process, ensuring prompt and respectful communication. Coordinate with internal departments including Medical Staff Office, Provider Enrollment, Human Resources, IT, and other supporting teams to complete onboarding tasks. Prepare and distribute onboarding itineraries, orientation materials, and necessary documentation. Track and monitor onboarding progress to ensure timely completion of all requirements. Assist providers with questions and escalate issues as needed to ensure a positive experience. Maintain accurate records and documentation in onboarding systems and shared drives. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to continuously improve onboarding processes. JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field. Licensure: N/A Experience: 2-4 years of experience in healthcare required. Experience in provider relations, human resources, or onboarding preferred, but not required. Other Job Requirements: Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Ability to flex hours and adjust schedule as needed to meet departmental and provider onboarding requirements. Occasional, but rare, early morning, or evening work may be required based on provider availability or organizational needs.
